History Week 2021 Keynote Presentation

Join us as we discuss "History from the Group Up"!

Due to technical difficulties and the current pandemic we were unable to bring you this event live as per usual but thanks to the joys of technology our speakers have been able to come to you from all over the state.

This event did go "live" at 11am on both Facebook and here on our website with our team monitoring your questions until 12pm. At this time our two guest speakers will record a Q & A session. So if you do have any questions for our speakers please head over to Facebook and place it in the comments section or send us a message by using the contact box below.

Today's proceedings include:

-Introduction by our Chairman Marcus Baker
-Keynote Presentation on the history of early firefighting in Sydney by our CEO Belinda McMartin
-Guest presentation on the historic relationship between the military and fire brigade by Ian Grimwood
-Awards presentation by our Curator Laura Anderson and Deputy Chairman Peter Stathis to announce our annual history award recipient and life member inductee to our membership program that was launched in 2020.
