Group Visits and Tours

The Museum of Fire invites you to step back in time and immerse yourself into the fascinating world of fire and firefighting. Home to Australia’s largest collection of Fire Brigade vehicles and a vast display of objects, equipment, memorabilia and educational displays, a visit to the Museum is suitable for men and women, young and old.

Our experienced volunteer guides are both serving and retired firefighters, so they have a wealth of knowledge about the Museum’s collection and will help you get the most from your visit.

  • Prepare to be challenged to think about your own fire safety plans, and learn some new tips on how to improve fire safety in your home

Complementary Guided Tour

For groups of 15 people or more we can offer a complementary guided tour lead by one of our highly knowledgeable volunteer guides.

For groups of 15 people or more we offer admission at a reduced price (please contact the Museum for pricing on groups). However, if your numbers should fall below 15 normal general admission prices will apply and no guide is provided.

For an additional $4 per person we can also offer you morning/afternoon tea. This consists of self-serve tea and coffee with a mixture of biscuits and cakes.
