The NSWFB’s role in the creation of the Darwin Fire Brigade, 1941
The Museum recently shared a post on our social media remembering 80 years since the bombing of Darwin began during World War Two (WWII) on 19 February 1942. The war had a significant impact on the history of firefighting in Australia with the Darwin Fire Brigade directly created as a result of the war response.
