Internships
We recognise the importance of internships and enabling tertiary students to gain valuable workplace experience to develop industry-specific abilities in a chosen area.
The Museum values the contribution that interns make to our work and are committed to providing opportunities for students to develop personally and professionally.
Interns are placed within the Museum to work on structured projects under the supervision of our staff. Participation in the Museum of Fire internship program requires that students are currently enrolled in a relevant course at a recognised Australian tertiary education institution and that the student’s insurance be covered by their educational institution. Internships run for 20-30 days, depending on the needs of the project and those of the student’s educational institution.
Please note that Museum of Fire internships are unpaid.
