About the event
We are hosting our children's art competition again this year with entries opening on 4th November 2024. Shortlisted entries will be chosen and exhibited in our Museum with prizes up for grabs!
To celebrate 140 years since the formation of Fire and Rescue NSW (originally called the Metropolitan Fire Brigade) this year’s theme will focus on the history of firefighting in NSW. For inspiration, cast your mind to what fire engines, fire stations, or even firefighters may have looked like throughout history. Research, recreate or use your imagination to showcase what the past looks like to you.
Using this theme illustrate, using an artistic medium of your choice, images that inspire or represent the history of Fire and Rescue NSW.
Who can enter? Entry is FREE and open to all Australian primary school aged residents!
Theme: Blazing Through History
Entry dates: Entries open 4th November 2024 and close 25th November 2024
