Spring Family Day

Spring Family Day is back during the school holidays!

This FREE* outdoor event is great for the whole family with:

• $3.50 Pre-booked Fire Engine Rides*
• FREE Face Painting
• FREE Petting Zoo
• Displays by Fire and Rescue NSW
• Museum of Fire Historic Vehicles on display
• FREE Coffee by Little Bird Kombi Cafe
• Food by Pizza Buddy

Due to the high demand for our fire engine rides, please pre-book your ticket to guarantee a ride at Spring Family Day. You can book into an half hour time slot below (opening soon), where you will be sent a ticket for staff to scan on the day. If you are unable to pre-book, or if it sells out, we will have a second fire engine on stand-by but we cannot guarantee a spot if you do not pre-book.

If you are a Museum of Fire Member, no need to pre-book your fire engine ride tickets! Simple join the pre-booked queue on the day and show your membership to a staff member. Only valid membership card holders can ride for free and jump the queue. If you have someone in your group that is not a member then they will have to purchase a ticket but they can still jump the queue with you.

Why not pack a picnic lunch to enjoy our beautiful grounds and make a day of it!

*Terms & Conditions

1. Museum entry is not included, you will still need to pay to enter the Museum.
2. SMILE! Museum events may be photographed, and these images are used for promotional purposes on our website, publications, social media, and/or newspapers. If you do not wish your image (or the image of your child) to be published, please notify staff before the event.
3. Children under the age of 7 must be accompanied by an adult and will not be able to sit in the front seat of the fire engine for safety reasons.
4. Fire Engine Ride tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable if participants change their mind, or do not attend the event.
5. Only valid membership card holders can ride for free and jump the queue. If you have someone in your group that is not a member then they will have to purchase a ticket but they can still jump the queue with you.
