Museum of Fire, 1 Museum Dr, Penrith NSW 2750, Australia

About the event

The Museum of Fire is inviting primary school aged children to drop-in and plant some beautiful flowers in our garden for Earth Day! We will provide all the plants and gardening tools, you will just need to come by anytime between 10am - 12pm for your child to plant a single plant. While the event runs for 2 hours, it will only take around 5-10 minutes to plant your flower. Our garden beds are located across from the carpark, near the closed playground.

Development is happening all around us and Penrith is no different. Recent years have seen the green spaces around the Museum disappear but here on site we are lucky enough to still have extensive grounds where children can play and explore with a "green sanctuary" developing here. Junior Caretakers Morning will reintroduce children to the local environment and take them outside, away from all screens.
